Grade 1 Classroom Teacher
About The Position
The Ipswich Public Schools School seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated classroom teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching, exceptional communication skills, and an ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This teaching position is anticipated to be at the kindergarten to grade two level. Candidates must be collaborative team players who effectively partner with grade-level colleagues and special educators across the school and district. A commitment to differentiating instruction to address diverse learning needs and abilities is essential.
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts DESE license in Elementary (Grades 1–6)
- Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Teacher Endorsement
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field
