About The Position
The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. This position is for a Grade 9-12 Social Studies & History Teacher at Kapolei High School.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
- If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
- Must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department if hired without a completed Teacher's Education Program.
- Must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year of employment.
- Ensure the program enrolled in is aligned with the teaching line hired in.
