About The Position
The Hawaii State Department of Education is hiring a Grade 7-8 Science Teacher at Stevenson Middle. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. Candidates hired without completing a teacher education program have up to three years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in an aligned program to continue employment. Each year, they must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit of Hawaii licensing requirements established by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board. Upon hire, the teacher must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit. A Hawaii teaching license is required to receive salary differentials. Requirements
