About The Position
The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. This position is for a Grade 7-8 English Language Arts Teacher at Moanalua Middle School. If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, new employees have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in a Program to continue employment. Employees must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure their chosen program aligns with their teaching line. A valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit is required upon hire.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum qualification for teacher positions, excluding designated CTE positions).
- Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
