Grade 4 Long Term Substitute Anticipated
About The Position
This is a full-time, long-term substitute position teaching 4th grade at Halifax Elementary School in Halifax, MA. The role will begin at the start of the school year and may extend for a month or longer. The teacher will be responsible for instructing all subject areas, maintaining communication with families, and collaborating with fellow educators. The ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, hold a valid MA teaching license with SEI endorsement, and be capable of supporting students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally within an inclusive and culturally-proficient environment. This position reports directly to the building principal.
Requirements
- Certified teacher (SEI endorsed)
- Possess a valid MA teaching license
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally
- Work with students, colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally-proficient manner
