About The Position
The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you will have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license. Enrollment in a program is required to continue employment with the Department. You must demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements annually. It is your responsibility to ensure your chosen program aligns with your teaching line. A valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit is required upon hire.
