About The Position

Westminster Elementary School is seeking a Grade 2 teacher to join their team at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in student support and hold an unwavering belief that every child is a capable learner. The school is located on the North side of Lethbridge serving approximately 270 students and is proud of the many ways children shine there. Requirements

Previous experience with multi age learners.
Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills.
Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
A police information check, including Vulnerable Sector Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment that does not have any charges or convictions.
A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.
Proof of photo identification (e.g., valid driver’s licence, provincial identification card, valid passport, or Nexus card).
Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee’s legal name.
