About The Position

Kingston Elementary School in Kingston, Massachusetts is seeking a full time Grade 2 teacher long term substitute. This position is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2026 and last for approximately 3 weeks. A successful candidate will support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.

Requirements

• Possess active licensure in Early Childhood (PK-2) or Elementary (1-6).

Responsibilities

• Be the lead teacher in a general education classroom and teach all subject areas.
• Collaborate with grade level teachers.
• Use data to inform instruction.
• Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
• Work with students, colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally-proficient manner.
