About The Position
Jefferson Elementary is seeking a dedicated Grade 1 Teacher. The position utilizes the following curricula: Math = Ready Math; Reading = Reading Wonders; Science = STEMscopes; Intervention = iReady; Supplemental Math = Building Thinking Classrooms; Supplemental Reading = OG Phonics.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification is a Bachelor's Degree (with exceptions for designated CTE positions).
- Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
- If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
- Must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department.
- Must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year.
- It is your responsibility to ensure the program you have enrolled is aligned with the teaching line you are hired in.
