About The Position

PADO AI Orchestration, Inc. is seeking a GPU & AI Infrastructure – Reserved Deal Desk Broker to manage transactions across its GPU marketplace, connecting neoclouds, aggregators, and other compute suppliers with AI-native buyers. The role covers supply and demand origination, workload-to-inventory matching, deal pricing, commercial structuring, and transaction execution through signature. It is a first dedicated deal desk position, with responsibility for developing how PADO sources, prices, and documents reserved compute transactions. The role focuses on reserved GPU capacity for buyers such as AI-native platforms, defense and robotics programs, biotech companies, and capital markets firms with specialized compliance or infrastructure needs. Compensation includes a monthly retainer and commission based on realized gross margin, paid as PADO collects; per-transaction caps apply. The role is remote and involves approximately 25% travel.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of full-cycle enterprise sales in GPU or compute brokering, neocloud sales, data center capacity sales, or infrastructure and commodity trading.
  • Existing relationships on the supply side, demand side, or both.
  • Current knowledge of GPU spot and reserved pricing and the factors that influence it, including chip generation, interconnect, bare metal versus virtualization, region and power cost, term length, and prepayment structure.
  • Ability to qualify workloads and understand ML training environments, foundation-model infrastructure, AI infrastructure failure modes, multi-GPU sharding, NVLink, networking, and shared filesystems.
  • Experience or comfort structuring long-term commitments of one to five years with 25–50% upfront capital, prepayment and escrow, SLA and service-credit regimes, and term-versus-price tradeoffs.
  • Understanding of the difference between gross merchandise value and margin, with focus on margin.
  • Working knowledge of export controls, cross-border AI deployment, data residency, compute segregation for defense programs, auditable GPU costs for pre-IPO companies, and hardware-level isolation for proprietary model training in capital markets.
  • Commercial judgment to avoid premature inventory commitments against unsigned demand.
  • Rigorous qualification methodology such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC, or equivalent, and ability to build account intelligence from business signals, infrastructure decision triggers, and buyer-specific friction points.
  • Proactive use of AI and go-to-market tools to streamline sourcing, automate counterparty research, and shorten deal cycles.
  • Self-motivation and comfort helping build a playbook in a high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent market experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a supplier network across neoclouds, aggregators, marketplaces, and colocation-backed operators.
  • Negotiate reserved capacity pricing, prepayment terms, and service levels for the GPU and accelerator types listed in the posting.
  • Source and qualify AI-native buyers, and translate their workloads into specifications suppliers can quote.
  • Match workload requirements—including interconnect, bare-metal access, region, term length, memory, and network profile—to available inventory.
  • Manage procurement cycles involving engineering leaders, CFOs, founders, compliance officers, and board or investment stakeholders.
  • Price deals to a target spread and own gross margin on originated transactions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms including prepayment and escrow mechanics, payment timing, SLA pass-through, non-circumvention terms, export controls, and cross-border deployment constraints.
  • Work with PADO’s counsel to align upstream and downstream agreements and manage risk to PADO.
  • Assess buyer creditworthiness, supplier delivery risk, and concentration risk before committing capacity.
  • Maintain Salesforce deal registration and pipeline hygiene and provide accurate forecasts to the executive team.
  • Track spot and reserved pricing by chip, region, and term, and share market pricing signals with PADO’s marketplace and product teams.
  • Represent PADO at major trade shows and industry events.

Benefits

  • Competitive monthly retainer plus commission credited on realized gross margin and paid as PADO collects; per-transaction caps apply.
  • Opportunity to define and build PADO’s first dedicated reserved deal desk.
  • Access to PADO’s marketplace, described as launching with real supplier inventory and a demand pipeline through the LG ecosystem.
  • Collaboration with a team of experts in energy, AI, and data center operations.
