About The Position

This highly motivated individual, as part of Manufacturing team, will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on the production floor including; assembly, material handling, quality checks and other basic manufacturing tasks. This role is designed for students who want hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in GPS Education Partners program, and be in good standing.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assembly, packaging, and production processes according to work instructions.
  • Perform basic equipment setup, cleaning, and machine support under supervision.
  • Conduct visual inspections and simple quality checks on parts and finished products.
  • Label, organize, and move materials or components within the production area.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Record production data, part counts, or inspection results as required.
  • Notify supervisors of any issues related to equipment, materials, or safety.
  • Complete rotation throughout various departments to learn different manufacturing roles.
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members across departments.
  • Helps support other department functions as needed.
  • Help create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Understand and abide by all company safety policies.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Company management.
