GPS Model Technician
About The Position
GPS Model Technicians are responsible for collecting information from various sources in order to create GPS models of earthworks and heavy civil construction projects. A strong candidate can effectively communicate both by email and in-person conversations in order to gain an understanding of the specific project needs and client requirements. They will possess a high attention to detail while being flexible and adaptive to changes on site. Construction is a fluid industry and the ability to roll with the changes is vital. You’ll be working out of our Scottsdale office, alongside other experienced professionals and be responsible for completing assignments based on a weekly schedule.
Requirements
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes on site
- Ability to roll with changes in a fluid industry
- Solid understanding of plan reading
- Ability to comprehend project specifications
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Earthwork 3D/4D
- Experience with Trimble Business Center
- Experience with Office 3D
- Experience with Excel
- Field experience, especially with GPS rover systems
- Experience building projects in the field
- Experience with AutoCAD
