Requirements
- College junior or senior majoring in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interest in public policy, politics, and current events
- Robust communication (written and verbal), collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Drive and eagerness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Experience in previous government relations-related role or internship
- Passion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues
- Interest in the political process, governing and public service
Responsibilities
- Integrate into recurring meetings
- Conduct policy research on a wide array of issue areas
- Draft materials of policy research for Government Relations staff
- Track civil identity and technology related legislation
- Observe and participate in corporate lobbying efforts
