This is a highly responsible professional position in the Community Programs Unit within the HIV Section, which provides technical assistance and monitors agencies responsible for delivering Ryan White Part B and HOPWA services. This position requires the ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Provides timely technical assistance and programmatic support to Ryan White Part B Lead Agencies and HOPWA project sponsors statewide to assure their effective planning and implementation for the efficient delivery of necessary services to persons with HIV. This assistance and. support cover topics such as client eligibility requirements, annual budget submissions and revisions, reporting required fiscal and programmatic data in designated systems, understanding program manuals and service standards, addressing client inquiries and complaints; and providing guidance and direction based on HUD and HRSA policy, HIV Patient Care policies, and state policies and procedures. Conducts programmatic and compliance monitoring and coordinates site visits and desk audits with Ryan White Part B Lead Agencies and HOPWA Project Sponsors, assesses compliance and recommends corrective actions; identifies provides support to County Health Department contract managers and subcontractors responsible for Ryan White Part Band HOPWA contracts. Assists with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, manuals, training materials and other technical assistance resources to support the Patient Care Unit and the Ryan White Part B Lead Agencies and HOPWA Project Sponsors. Collaborates with other Patient Care work units to develop and ensure strategies for linkage, retention and re-engagement in care are supported by Community Programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
