Your role will offer you : Visibility of all products, services and technology innovation in the organization Learning on a broad variety of topics: innovation funding, government relationship, change management, process improvement Development of both internal and external networks related to innovation and the aerospace sector This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree, or any other professional degree combined with a strong interest for technical aspects.
  • 5+ years involvement in budget and finance management in at least two sectors of the enterprise
  • 5+ years of experience in government funding programs in Quebec and/or Canada
  • 5+ years of experience in government audit (technical and/or financial audits)
  • Moderate knowledge of engineering and operations sectors.
  • Moderate knowledge of engine programs.
  • Pragmatic and business oriented
  • Focused, able to tackle and prioritize a number of tasks, risks and considerations
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage liaison with government authorities and innovation project managers related to public funding agreements.
  • Manage partners. May require liaison with academia and industrial collaborators involved in contribution agreements.
  • Distribute and coordinate information requests from public funding entities to the relevant enterprise stakeholders and ensure efficient liaison with such entities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance, Operations, Legal and Government Affairs groups during the application phase of new funding programs and the deployment of the required governance in support of new funding agreements.
  • More specifically, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating a new funding agreement with INSAT on a development project of sustainable alternative fuel project with a new Canadian partner. In addition, coordination and monitoring of current funding agreements must be ensured, particularly the project to develop new material funded by INSAT.
  • Ensure a rigorous monitoring of all funding agreements, including the collection of technical and various data, enabling conformity validation against all agreement related obligations, as requested by governments.
  • Support the government audits related to all applicable funding agreements.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality and compliance of all shared information.
  • Collaborate and improve internal processes, with business sectors, for public funding programs and government obligations compliance.
