About The Position

The Government and International Business Administration Specialist is responsible for completing business administrative processes within the Government and International Sales Department. These processes include, but are not limited to, preparing quotes, completing sales orders, preparing and submitting compliance forms/documents for review, participating in sales order review meetings, preparing government checklists and ensuring shipment and tracking of all customer orders within the department. Maintain departmental files, records, and communications. Conduct process analysis regularly to ensure efficient operation and make recommendations to the Government and International Business Administration Manager and Director.

Requirements

  • College degree in Business Administration or related field. Maybe offset by experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of business administration experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to keep sensitive and proprietary information confidential
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in communications.
  • Must be flexible and able to change priorities regularly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadline; excellent time management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Cooperative, can-do attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to convey information clearly, engagingly, and confidently to various types of audiences.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be authorized to receive Technical Data and/or Technology under U.S. export control laws.

  • The applicant will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

  • Experience in D365 and Power BI a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy of assigned requests for quotes (RFQ).
  • Ensure accuracy of assigned purchase orders (PO).
  • Ensure accuracy of assigned sales orders (SO).
  • Coordinate interdepartmentally as required to conduct the business administration of the department.
  • Communicate with all customers telephonically and digitally as required to ensure a professional customer experience.
  • Maintain an electronic file of all business administrative documents, records, RFQ’s, PO’s, SO’s, and email correspondence.
  • Assist in documenting all business processes and updating process documents as needed.
  • Conduct process analysis regularly to ensure efficient operation and make recommendations for change to the Manager of the department.
  • Provide direct assistance to the Director, International Sales Manager, and Military/Government and Law Enforcement Sales Manager regarding all business administration matters.
  • Provide back-up support to other team members in the performance of job duties as required.
  • Manage various special projects to completion by assigned deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • International and domestic travel as required by role not to exceed 20%.
