The Government Affairs Associate contributes to America's Essential Hospitals' advocacy efforts by successfully supporting key legislative, policy, and communications activities as well as tracking and summarizing legislative developments. The Government Affairs Associate also conducts email campaigns, including weekly and monthly member newsletters and ad-hoc member communications, in addition to supporting digital and other communications activities. The Government Affairs Associate serves a key role as a coordinator and member liaison for legislative meetings and events; coordinating workflow between the three teams. The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills, familiarity with the legislative process, and the ability to synthesize complex policy information into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
