About The Position

This role will lead government affairs and market access efforts in the Philippines to improve patient access and support sustainable healthcare solutions. The individual will build trusted relationships with government agencies, payers, and health system stakeholders, working closely with cross-functional colleagues across market access, medical, HEOR, regulatory, and commercial teams. Requirements

University degree in public health, pharmacy, health economics, economics, public policy, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in market access, government affairs, pricing, reimbursement, or payer engagement within the Philippines healthcare system.
Practical knowledge of Philippine public procurement, reimbursement pathways, and health financing mechanisms.
Experience preparing access dossiers, government submissions, or payer-facing materials.
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with public sector or institutional stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

Filipino language skills are preferred.
Advanced degree in health economics, public policy, public health, or related discipline.
Experience working with health technology assessment, value dossiers, or economic modelling.
Background in hospital procurement, tender management, or contracting with government institutions.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, or with government health authorities.
Proven ability to work across matrixed teams and coordinate regional or global stakeholders.
Track record of influencing policy outcomes or securing reimbursement decisions.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver national government affairs and market access strategies for public and private sectors.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with government agencies, payers, hospital leaders, and policy stakeholders.
Prepare payer materials, reimbursement dossiers, and policy briefs to support coverage, procurement, and contracting decisions.
Lead negotiations and engagement for tenders, access agreements, and institutional contracting.
Work with HEOR, medical, and regulatory colleagues to generate and use local evidence that supports access cases.
Monitor policy and market trends and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations for local and regional teams.
