Governance Specialist
About The Position
Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets. Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad. The Governance Specialist supports engineering policies, procedures, authority structures, compliance monitoring, technical escalation, and corrective-action processes within the Technical Infrastructure Platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality, or a related discipline.
- Three or more years of experience in engineering governance, quality systems, compliance, or technical administration.
- Strong organization, documentation, analysis, and communication skills.

- Experience with engineering standards management or policy development.
- Familiarity with quality-management, audit, or corrective-action systems.
- Experience supporting regulated or technically controlled environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development and maintenance of engineering policies, procedures, and authority matrices.
- Maintain governance documentation, revision control, approvals, and distribution records.
- Support standards-deviation, technical-escalation, and exception-management processes.
- Monitor compliance with engineering governance requirements and approved standards.
- Support governance audits, management reviews, and performance reporting.
- Track technical corrective actions and institutional improvement commitments.
- Coordinate updates based on operational feedback, lessons learned, and approved changes.
- Prepare governance communications, training materials, and implementation support.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
