About The Position

WSFS Bank is seeking ambitious, high-performing college students interested in financial services for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. This paid, 10-week internship offers meaningful project work, one-on-one mentorship, executive exposure, professional development, volunteer initiatives, networking events, and collaboration with fellow interns. Interns gain hands-on experience working with industry professionals and contributing to business initiatives across bank departments. The Governance, Risk and Compliance Intern will assist with risk assessments by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential risks; maintaining risk registers; and supporting mitigation strategies. The intern will help monitor compliance with information security regulations and standards through audits, reviews, and policy maintenance. The role also contributes to the design, testing, and remediation of internal security controls and supports GRC projects through data analysis, reporting, documentation, presentations, and dashboard development. The internship is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week program that runs continuously from the first week of June through early to mid-August 2027. The intern must be able to work up to five days on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint. The salary range is $18.00–$21.00 per hour. High-performing interns may be considered for continued employment after successful completion of the program.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews and in-person orientation with Human Resources.
Must be able to work up to five days on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint.
Must be able to participate in the full-time program, 40 hours per week, from the first week of June through early to mid-August.
Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Assist with risk assessments by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential risks.
