Requirements

Minimum of 8 years experience in a hands-on, client-facing technology role (e.g., Cloud Engineer, Solution Architect, Senior Developer, Technology Consultant).
Minimum of 5 years of practical, hands-on experience architecting and leading the delivery of solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Minimum of 3 years in a formal leadership role, with proven experience managing, coaching, and mentoring technical teams.
Minimum of 3 years experience leading project teams distributed across the globe and managing multiple concurrent project streams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associates degree, 6 years of work experience.

Nice To Haves

Consulting experience leading solution delivery, practice management, innovation and stakeholder management
Expertise in product-led engineering, operating models and engineering best practices
Industry and/or functional expertise across one our more solution domains
Deep expertise across the GCP ecosystem, including: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (GKE, Docker).
Data integration using services like Cloud Dataflow or Pub/Sub, API development with Apigee, and working with Google Cloud databases such as Cloud SQL, Spanner, or Bigtable.
Google Chronicle Security Operations, Security Command Center, or other SIEM/SOAR platforms.
Marketing analytics, customer data platforms (CDP), or building solutions for marketing and sales
Experience with Google Workspace APIs and Google Apps Script for building custom integrations and automations.
Hands-on experience with Google CES (CCaaS) or other contact center technologies (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Amazon Connect).
Multiple Google Cloud Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Machine Learning Engineer).

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a practice of Google Cloud engineers by managing the workforce, defining best practices, and mentoring team members for professional growth.
Manage and mentor on-shore and off-shore project teams, conduct reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
Act as a key technical advisor for sales and delivery, providing technical and functional expertise for our assets and offerings, and collaborate with our offering team to drive continuous innovation.
Design, build, test, and deploy complex, cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud, working across the entire service delivery lifecycle from concept to production.
Work directly with clients to understand business objectives, translate requirements into solutions, solve unique challenges and act as a technical advisor for the client throughout the project.
Drive the adoption of modern engineering and Agile methodologies, coaching the practice to deliver high-quality software at pace.
Accountable for delivering multiple, concurrent client projects to the highest standard by managing global teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
Leverage your deep expertise to provide delivery leadership and execute delivery of high-impact solutions in these Google Cloud domains: Data & AI, Generative & Agentic AI, Security Operations (SecOps) & Cyber Defense, Marketing Intelligence & Personalization, Customer Engagement (CES), Application & Infrastructure Modernization, Workplace & Collaboration Solutions.
