About The Position

As a cloud computing application architect, you will develop cloud-based technical architectures and solutions that meet client needs and support national security missions. You will help clients modernize IT infrastructure, advise on strategy and design, and ensure standards are met throughout cloud migrations. Working with cloud architects and engineers specializing in Google, you will design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components. You will also work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container applications and use Kubernetes. The role includes exploring technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and modernizing legacy platforms and applications or building new ones.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with cloud architecture.
• 3+ years of experience implementing cloud technologies, including Google.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Terraform.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Google Solutions Architect Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing and optimizing databases on AWS, including RDS and DynamoDB.
• Experience programming in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
• Experience with DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and work with third-party APIs.

Responsibilities
