About The Position
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is seeking passionate individuals for a Fall 2026 Internship in Golf Tournament Operations. This role offers hands-on experience in operating golf tournaments, from course setup to breakdown, under the mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff. Interns will gain extensive travel experience across the country, working weekends to provide elite tournament experiences for junior golfers. When not traveling, interns will receive Business Operations training from the Senior Leadership team. The HJGT, founded in 2007, is the largest junior golf tour in the world, dedicated to providing competitive opportunities and superb hospitality for junior golfers aged 8-18. A partnership with Nexus further aims to grow the game of golf globally.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Business/Sports Management/Marketing or other related fields
- Must receive at least one (1) credit for the onsite experience from an accredited College/University
- Must be within good standing of your College/University

Responsibilities
- Provide extensive customer service to all players and families
- Tournament set-up and preparation includes, but not limited to: marking golf courses, tee and hole locations, scoreboard set-up, utility set-up
- Starting and scoring of players, on course rules officiating, pace of play management
- Other duties assigned by management
