About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Head Golf Professional, the Golf Shop Sales Associate is responsible for collecting appropriate fees, taking reservations, and assisting in merchandise sales. This role involves assisting customers both in person and over the phone, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience, and promoting Park District services and facilities. The associate will also monitor the safety of golf patrons, reserve tee times, assist with the general maintenance and cleanliness of the clubhouse, and aid in the presentation and sale of merchandise. Additionally, they will support related staff with special duties assigned by the Head Golf Professional and demonstrate District customer service standards.

Requirements

Working knowledge of the operations of golf courses and facilities.
Ability to display professionalism with patrons.
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
Working knowledge of basic computer software.
Ability to learn new software.
Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities
