About The Position

The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking full-time and part-time Golf Shop Assistants for a seasonal role running from October through late May. The position provides a welcoming, polished, and service-focused experience for members and guests in the Golf Shop. Assistants answer phones, help members and guests with their needs, sell merchandise with an emphasis on customer service, and keep the shop folded, sized, clean, organized, and presentable. The Country Club at DC Ranch is a member-owned private golf and country club near the McDowell Mountains. Club amenities include a championship golf course, a 45,000-square-foot clubhouse, tennis and pickleball courts, a pool complex, and a fitness facility. Its mission is to build tradition and become the pre-eminent Southwest lifestyle club through exceptional hospitality and a legacy of fun, family, and friendliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in sales, assisting the buyer in a golf shop, and/or displaying merchandise.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Approachable, friendly personality and ability to relate to members and guests.
Organizational and basic computer skills.
Knowledge of inventory controls.
Initiative and self-starter approach.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
