About The Position
Sugarbush Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is seeking Golf Shop Attendants. Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company committed to serving people and creating exceptional experiences. Sugarbush Golf Club is a premier championship 18-hole, par-72 public golf course known for its exceptional design and challenging play, recognized by Golf Digest and Michigan Golf Magazine. The Golf Shop Attendant will assist the Head Golf Professional in various aspects of golf operations, merchandise sales, and customer service.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems.
- Understanding of Club financials.
- Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Knowledge of shop inventory.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Golf Professional in planning, promoting, and directing all golf activities.
- Developing merchandise sales and promotions during holidays, specials events, and times when sales are slow.
- Ordering supplies for the golf shop as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
- Assisting the Head Golf Professional with all tournament operations.
- Maintaining all logs (comp, rain check, monthly range, etc).
- Completing customer transactions.
