About The Position
The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for opening and closing procedures, answering phone calls, checking members and guests in using the Jonas POS system, and assisting members with event registrations. This role also involves helping with merchandise displays, providing product knowledge to assist customers with purchasing decisions, and maintaining a high level of service and friendliness.
Requirements
- Experience in a retail setting
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Jonas Point of Sale preferred but not required
- Golf knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing procedures
- Answer phone calls
- Check members and guest in on Jonas POS
- Help members get registered for events
- Assist with shop merchandise displays
- Provide product knowledge to help members and guest make buying decisions
- Maintain a high level of service and friendliness
