About The Position
The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking full-time and part-time, seasonal Golf Shop Assistants to provide a welcoming, polished, and service-focused experience for members and guests in our Golf Shop. Responsibilities include answering phones, assisting members and guests, selling merchandise with a strong emphasis on customer service, and maintaining the organization and presentation of the Golf Shop. This is a seasonal role, running from October to late May.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in sales, or assisting the buyer in a golf shop, and/or displaying merchandise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required – must be able to communicate as needed with vendors, members and guests, supervisors and employees.
- Approachable, friendly personality required – must be able to relate to members and guests.
- Organizational and basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of inventory controls.
- Must have initiative and be a self-starter with creative ideas on growing the golf shop business volume.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
