Golf Ground Maintenance Worker - Level 1 - Irrigation Technician
About The Position
Dundee Golf Club is looking for an outgoing and responsible individual that would like to be part of the Turf Services team in a fast paced environment. Working with the team will prove to be both enjoyable and rewarding. An Irrigation Technician is responsible for the day to day watering and maintenance of the Irrigation system. This is a part-time position which will require early morning starts (02:30AM) to successfully complete routine water applications. This is a part-time seasonal position, and the successful candidate must be available to work any shift including early mornings, days, weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Able to demonstrate a growing knowledge of equipment operation as time progresses.
- Self-motivated. Strong performer. Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to positively interact with co-workers, and public.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, and reach with hands. May be required to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work early morning hours
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work regular maintenance hours when watering is not required
