Join Broken Sound Club as a Golf Course Ranger! We are seeking a part-time Golf Course Ranger to assist the Director of Outside Operations and Assistant Golf Professionals in managing the flow of play on the golf course. This role involves daily setup and breakdown of the Starters Hut, ensuring supplies like tees, pencils, and scorecards are stocked, and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. The Ranger will be responsible for welcoming and engaging with members and guests in a friendly and visible manner, communicating essential information about the course, club rules, and tournaments. A key part of this role is ensuring the efficient lineup of play, preparing golfers for the tee, and notifying them of their tee times. The Ranger will organize walk-up groups and tee times, start golfers from designated holes based on the daily course setup, and assist in managing the tee sheet. Accuracy of the day-of tee sheet is crucial, as is updating records for golf course activities such as play sheets, cart usage, turn times, and infractions. This position requires close communication with other Rangers to monitor pace of play via Visage. Additionally, the Ranger will be responsible for the upkeep of the practice and short-game areas, assisting with inventory in the Starters Hut, and billing daily golf fees for members and guests. Radio communication will be used to convey updates regarding member and guest rounds.
