About The Position
Delray Beach Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is a historic public golf destination in South Florida, originally opened in 1926 and designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, with later contributions from Dick Wilson. The par-72 championship layout has long been recognized as one of Florida’s premier municipal golf experiences, hosting nearly 60,000 rounds annually while offering practice facilities, tournaments, dining, and event space. The club is currently undergoing a major $32 million restoration and modernization project led by golf architect John Sanford. The renovation is focused on restoring many of the original Donald Ross design characteristics — including strategic bunkering, raised greens, and walkable routing — while upgrading infrastructure, practice facilities, and the clubhouse experience for a new generation of golfers. Delray Beach is hiring for Golf Course Maintenance.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of Golf Course Operations and Etiquette.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Willing to learn new tasks.
- Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling.
- Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in golf maintenance or landscaping a plus.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, landscaping, bunker maintenance, irrigation system upkeep, and general course repairs.
- Operating specialized golf course maintenance equipment.
- Assisting with turf management.
- Following safety protocols to maintain high course standards.
