About The Position

Achasta Golf Club, located in Dahlonega, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Golf Course Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This entry-level position assists in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, practice facilities, clubhouse grounds, and landscaping. No previous golf course experience is required; training will be provided for qualified candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including walking, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Mows greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas
Rakes and maintains bunkers
Operates string trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment
Assists with course setup, including changing cups and moving tee markers
Repairs divots, ball marks, and other turf damage
Assists with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
Assists in applying fertilizers, soil amendments, and other turf management products under supervision
Performs landscape maintenance, including pruning, edging, mulching, and debris removal
Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and maintenance facilities
Follows all safety procedures and club policies
Assists with special projects and tournament preparation as assigned
