About The Position

As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate monitoring and repair of golf course irrigation systems. This includes pump stations, pipes, valves, heads, controllers, and associated computer hardware and software. Your role will involve maintaining optimal moisture levels for turf and landscaping to enhance playability and aesthetics, proactively identifying and addressing excessively wet or dry areas. You will also maintain daily logs for irrigation water consumption, pump hours, bulk liquid fertilizer consumption, and acid injection. Additionally, you will manage inventories of all irrigation system parts and accessories within budgeted guidelines, adhering to established purchase order and invoice processing procedures. Maintaining the Irrigation facility and all associated equipment in a clean and organized manner, and communicating professionally with insights, are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work for long periods of time walking, standing, or stooping.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Team orientated attitude.
• Reliable transportation.
