About The Position

Responsible for delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and maintaining operational excellence in the golf pro shop.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and team members

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process sales transactions accurately, including processing payments, and completing settlement documentation
  • Maintain high standards for customer service, sales performance, and sales floor presentation
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience
  • Assist with merchandising execution to optimize product presentation, sales, and customer satisfaction
  • Support the development and upkeep of floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service practices, and sales techniques
  • Keep the selling area clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Recommend items and quantities for product reorders based on sales trends and inventory levels
  • Assist with inventory management and receiving new merchandise
  • Assist with coordinating and promoting special events, tournaments, and member programs
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, pricing, and golf industry trends
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Support basic golf course maintenance and cleaning as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management
