This position is responsible for keeping our carts in top working condition to ensure safe, reliable transportation for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and takes pride in vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience repairing small engines, golf carts, ATVs, or similar vehicles
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience specifically with golf cart maintenance
• Certification in small engine repair or similar
• Experience with battery and electrical systems
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on golf carts including oil changes, filter replacements, battery service, and tire rotations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct pre- and post-rental inspections to document vehicle condition
• Test drive carts to identify problems and verify repairs
• Maintain detailed service records and maintenance logs
• Order and manage parts inventory
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Communicate with management about fleet condition and needed repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines
• Perform other operational duties reasonably associated with the position and resort needs.
