About The Position

The On Call Golf Caddie is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to each and every guest. They will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Possess an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching guest and coworkers.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be well groomed and professional.
  • Ability to communicate English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding.
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts.
  • Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • In-depth knowledge of golf and golf etiquette.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional foreign language a plus.
  • Previous caddie or golf experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
  • Ensuring the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.
  • Maintaining a safe and pristine work environment at all times.
  • Working with safety as a priority, and following department and company safety standards.
  • Knowing and adhering to Wynn policies and procedures, embracing company culture and taking pride in the resort and amenities.
  • Understanding and being well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests.
  • Prepping and stocking golf carts to Wynn Golf Club standards prior to round and cleaning & detailing carts upon completion of round.
  • Managing guests’ and loaner clubs appropriately; including accurate movement of golf clubs to Bell Storage.
  • Accurate compiling of guests belongings (i.e. shoes, travel bags, etc…).
  • Attending required training classes and incorporating new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
  • Looking for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Being solution oriented, avoiding conflict and gossip, staying on task and promoting teamwork.
  • Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiling and making eye contact, communicating professionally.
  • Ensuring all guest needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Selecting proper clubs for certain shots, cleaning balls, raking sand traps, lining up putts, predicting wind speeds and directions, reading green slopes, filling divots, tending flags, locating balls, keeping accurate score, advising about golf rules and terms, and helping your guests have the best day on the course possible.
