About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable individual to join our team as a Golf Outside Services Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable golf experience from arrival to departure. Sea Palms Resort features 123 rooms, an 18 hole golf course, and a full service on-site restaurant. Nestled in the heart of St. Simons Island, our marshfront resort is a sanctuary of tranquility, designed to provide an escape from the ordinary and a gateway to unforgettable memories. Sea Palms Resort, managed by Raines Co., welcomes all individuals who have the ability to extend the warmth of hospitality to our members and guest.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf or hospitality setting.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests promptly upon arrival, assist with unloading golf bags from vehicles, and transport bags to the staging area or golf carts.
Clean and maintain golf clubs before and after rounds, ensuring they are in excellent condition for use.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize golf carts after each use, ensuring they are ready for the next set of players.
Safely lift and carry golf bags and other items weighing up to 75 pounds as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing member and guest inquiries, offering assistance, and ensuring a positive experience.
Assist with various tasks around the golf course as directed by the Head Golf Professional, including setting up for events, maintaining practice areas, and other duties as assigned.
