Clair is on a mission to make America’s workforce financially free. We partner with employers and workforce platforms to embed financial wellness tools directly into payroll and HR systems, giving employees access to fee-free earned wage access and other financial products that help them avoid predatory financial solutions. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding beyond traditional payroll providers and increasingly partnering with larger companies building their own payroll and HRIS infrastructure. We’re looking for a highly analytical, curious, and strategic operator to help us better understand the embedded fintech landscape and identify where Clair should go next. This role is ideal for someone with 2-7 years of experience in their career with a background in investment banking, consulting, private equity, strategic finance, market research, venture capital or business operations who wants to move closer to operating within a high-growth fintech company. You’ll work directly with Clair’s Chief of Staff and partner closely with Partnerships, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data teams to deeply understand the embedded fintech ecosystem, identify high-potential target companies and buyers, analyze market trends, and help inform Clair’s long-term go-to-market strategies. This role will begin heavily focused on research, market intelligence, and strategic analysis, with the opportunity to evolve into a more influential strategic partner helping shape company-level sales, GTM, and product decisions over time.
