About The Position

Speechify is seeking its first Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer for SIMBA, an AI voice agent product. This role is focused on building and owning the technical systems that power the outbound sales motion. The GTM Engineer will be responsible for lead enrichment, CRM architecture, AI-powered personalization, and ensuring the Sales team has the necessary tooling and data. This is a purely infrastructure and systems role, ideal for someone who has built outbound systems from scratch and is data-driven. SIMBA allows companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in over 71 languages with sub-second latency. Speechify, the parent company, has a mission to make reading accessible and has been recognized by Google and Apple for its text-to-speech products. The company operates in a 100% distributed setting with a team comprised of experienced professionals from major tech companies and startups.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in GTM engineering, growth engineering, or a RevOps role with a strong technical focus.
  • Proven experience building outbound systems from scratch (enrichment pipelines, multi-step sequences, lead scoring).
  • Deep hands-on experience with the modern GTM stack: Clay, Apollo, HubSpot or Salesforce, Outreach or Instantly, Zapier/Make, Webhooks, REST APIs.
  • Ability to think in funnels and obsessively track metrics such as pipeline influenced, reply rates, meeting conversion, and cost per opportunity.
  • A proactive approach to shipping fast, keeping things simple, and taking initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building GTM systems for an AI, voice, or developer-tools product.
  • Familiarity with contact center, CX, or telephony buyer personas.
  • Background at a B2C company that also runs a B2B or API sales motion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain SIMBA's outbound infrastructure, including lead sourcing, enrichment pipelines, scoring models, and sequencing workflows.
  • Own the GTM tech stack end-to-end, encompassing CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, Clearbit), and sequencing platforms (Outreach, Instantly).
  • Deploy AI agents for automated prospect research, personalized outreach generation, and follow-up workflows to reduce manual work for the Sales team.
  • Instrument the full top-of-funnel to track performance, identify inefficiencies, and optimize for meetings booked and pipeline created.
  • Build integrations and automations using APIs, webhooks, and tools like Zapier/Make to maintain data cleanliness and system synchronization.
  • Evaluate and adopt new AI and GTM tooling, serving as the team's expert on emerging technologies.
