GMP Liquid Fill Packaging Operator
About The Position
Fill and close liquid chemical containers to exact specifications, using tested and verified scales and the Weight Assisted Computer (WAC). Scan to validate materials; follow defined packing procedures and recipes. Record and reconcile data in MES and SAP, including totals, confirmations, scrap, and delivery quantities. Print/reprint labels, select correct label sizes by container type, place labels accurately, and discard extras or misprints correctly. Apply tamper-evidence seals and perform proper crimping for secure closure. Maintain safety, PPE compliance, cleanliness, and quality standards (GMP/HACCP).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing experience may substitute.
- 1 year of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
- Able to tolerate strong odors/allergens and stand for 8 hours.
- Frequently lift a 35 lb product hose; routinely move/lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs.
