About The Position

You’ll be part of a stable, people-first team that takes pride in safe, high-quality chemical manufacturing. From the moment you review your batch record to the final seal on a container, your work keeps our customers supplied and our plant running smoothly. Choose a schedule that fits: Overnight 10-hour rotation: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Overnight 12-hour rotation: Monday–Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. Weekend days: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Comfort with basic computers and MS Office
  • Clear English communication skills—written and verbal
  • Compliance: Drug screening during the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in chemical processing or comparable manufacturing (preferred)
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and lean principles
  • Background in food and beverage manufacturing or similar production environments

Responsibilities

  • Verifying the production schedule and batch documentation, confirming the correct raw materials and order of addition.
  • Examining every drum, pail, and tote inside and out before filling.
  • Cleaning and prepping reactors to GMP expectations and documenting your work.
  • Blending and filtering liquid products while wearing prescribed PPE and ensuring each lot meets spec before it leaves the area.
  • Inspecting tank trucks before any loading or unloading begins.
  • Double-checking all paperwork for bulk transfers by truck or rail.
  • Cleaning totes per procedure, keeping service histories, and logging testing in the Prism tote tracking system.
  • Completing area audits each week, maintaining the filter log and other records, and submitting inspection checklists on time.
  • Reviewing Catalyst for upcoming training items and completing SOP reviews by their due dates.
  • Contributing to emergency response and regulatory, health and safety, and process training as needed.
  • Placing a Maximo service request when equipment needs attention.
  • Helping to keep areas orderly and upholding Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence for facilities, products, and service.
