The GMP Biomanufacturing Operator II is part of the GMP Manufacturing department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the GMP Biomanufacturing Team and will be responsible for executing production events in a GMP manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving proficient training on core manufacturing processes and demonstrate proficient competency on processes within your functional area. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement and standardization of manufacturing processes utilizing DBS tools.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Good communication skills as needed for reporting, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Apply basic math (calculations, arithmetic, ratios, proportions, and conversions)
  • Ability to use hands, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing processes such as transformations, cell banking, fermentation, lysis, chromatography, diafiltration, and final fill to support pDNA, mRNA, and protein product types
  • Ensure a safety-first and audit-ready mindset and manage environment within manufacturing areas. Segregation, line clearance and cleaning of manufacturing areas. Practice aseptic technique on a consistent basis to minimize contamination in all manufacturing areas
  • Maintain a quality-first mindset and adhere to good manufacturing practices by following appropriate gowning protocols, standard operating procedures, good documentation practices, and regulatory expectations
