About The Position

HPE is looking for an Executive Programs Lead (EPL) to advance priorities and initiatives within the Global Marketing & Communications (GMC) organization. The EPL is a trusted partner to one-to-two Vice Presidents who serve on the GMC Leadership Team and report directly to the CMCO. This individual contributor sits at the intersection of communications, culture, and execution, helping the leader they support translate priorities into clear direction, strong operating rhythm, and high impact moments for their organizations. This role is designed for a collaborative, organized doer who can anticipate needs, connect dots across a complex, matrixed environment, and accelerate progress on the priorities that matter most. The EPL is a critical partner, enabling leaders to show up effectively for their teams and stakeholders while maintaining tight alignment to CMCO priorities and GMC wide ways of working. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and collaborative with strong communications instincts and sound judgment. They are comfortable operating with ambiguity, working closely with senior leaders, and balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution. This person brings a service-oriented mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence without authority.

Requirements

  • Experience advising senior leaders or leadership teams in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable message.
  • Excellent organizational and program management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to influence, build trust, and collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Comfortable shifting between strategic thinking and hands on execution.
  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, strategy, communications, or business partner roles.
  • Aptitude and desire for collaboration with cross functional teams.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of the Vice President’s leadership team, helping translate priorities into clear plans, operating cadences, and decision forums.
  • Design and manage leadership team agendas, offsites, and face-to-face meetings to ensure time is spent on the most critical topics.
  • Partner with Strategy & Operations team to improve processes.
  • Partner with Vice President and Office of CMCO to plan and develop content for all team meetings and similar forums, memos and newsletters, and cultural milestones and moments.
  • Support the development of strong team culture through intentional programming, recognition moments, and engagement initiatives.
  • Help bring HPE and GMC culture blueprints to life within the organization and partner with HR and Office of the CMCO to support talent development and readiness for what’s next.
  • Be the ultimate dot-connector and act as connective tissue between the Vice President’s organization, the Office of the CMCO, Strategy & Operations, and peer EPLs, ensuring consistency in approach, templates, experiences, and ways of working across GMC.
