  • Ability to work in a temperature‑controlled retail environment with occasional outdoor exposure
  • Must comply with company dress code and safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, courteous, and professional customer service in the General Merchandise (GM/HBC) department
  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise GM/HBC stock clerks to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity
  • Manage department merchandising, including shelf conditions, signage, pricing, and promotional execution
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through daily counts, ordering, paperwork, and backroom organization
  • Ensure department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards
  • Handle customer concerns related to product availability, pricing, or service issues
  • Safeguard and manage high‑value and sensitive merchandise
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Support operational execution, including recalls, expired product removal, and loss prevention
