The role drives financial performance by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. It also ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, while developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. The position provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, promoting a belonging mindset, and recruiting qualified associates. It also ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and promotes a culture of belonging and continuous improvement.
