Requirements

A minimum of 5 years as an automotive technician, with a strong background in GM vehicles preferred.
PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses are required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues across various makes and models.
A demonstrated commitment to precision and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering timely and efficient service.
Willingness to engage in continuous learning and manufacturer-sponsored training provided by C. Harper Auto Group.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification is preferred but not required.
Previous experience with General Motors vehicles is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with OEM standards and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

Efficiently complete all tasks specified on repair orders, adhering strictly to dealership and manufacturer standards.
Conduct thorough diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide array of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Collaborate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates.
Execute warranty repairs in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
Maintain meticulous records of all repairs, maintenance work performed, and parts utilized.
Uphold a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all safety regulations.
Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Work cohesively with fellow technicians and service staff to deliver the highest level of customer service.
