About The Position
Join the service team at Sunset Cadillac of Venice, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group - southwest Florida's largest automotive group. We are seeking skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technicians who take pride in quality work and want to continue learning and growing. GM dealership experience and certifications are preferred, but all automotive service experience will be considered.
Requirements
- Automotive service experience required
- Technical institute or formal training a plus
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and verifiable work history
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to handle a variety of repair work
- Willingness to continue education and training
Nice To Haves
- GM dealership experience and certifications are preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose vehicle maintenance, mechanical, and drivability concerns
- Perform repairs efficiently and correctly according to dealership and factory standards
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and parts team members
- Document all work performed on repair orders
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism
