About The Position
Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships, has an immediate opening for an experienced GM Service Technician. This role offers highly competitive flat-rate pay with consistent, year-round work, and our best technicians consistently make six figures. The facility is large and has been recently expanded to include more bays, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and multiple machines to minimize waiting times. Sunset is an established, stable company that values its service team and offers relocation assistance to the right candidate. We are looking for a dependable and ethical technician with solid diagnostic and repair skills, capable of completing quality repairs independently or with minimal supervision. We welcome applications from experienced professionals looking to relocate to southwest Florida.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
- Dependable and ethical.
- Solid diagnostic and repair skills.
- Intermediate to advanced automotive service experience.
- Good diagnostic skills.
- Flexibility for all types of work.
- Own tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Verifiable work history.
- Ability to engage in heavy lifting.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to continue your education.
Nice To Haves
- GM certifications and experience preferred.
- Other dealership or independent shop experience considered.
- Technical institute/training a plus, experience considered in lieu of education.
- GM experience preferred.
- ASE and/or GM certifications preferred.
