About The Position

This role involves supporting the build process of the final product by properly lifting and stacking a variety of components. The Glue Up Offbearer will also interpret basic paperwork, perform quality checks, and maintain daily reporting and housekeeping procedures. The position requires learning about various wood types used in production and adhering to all safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret basic paperwork, build tickets, etc.
• Ability to perform quality checks throughout machining process.
• Ability to maintain daily reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Ability to comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Ability to maintain housekeeping procedures daily in the work area.
• Ability to learn a variety of wood types.

Responsibilities

• Proper lifting and stacking techniques.
• Stacking and handling a variety of components to support the build process of the final product.
• Interpreting basic paperwork, build tickets, etc.
• Performing quality checks throughout the machining process to ensure parts are correct for customer satisfaction.
• Daily reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Reporting problems to supervisor.
• Complying with all safety and health regulations.
• Maintaining housekeeping procedures daily in the work area.
• Learning a variety of wood types depending on the department (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Hickory, MDF, Koto, Plywood, Particleboard, etc.).
