About The Position

This role is for an experienced builder to bring together Product Management, R&D, Clinical Evaluation, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Quality into one connected, high-performing global organization. Movora has grown through an entrepreneurial, multi-brand scale-up structure, and this role will build a shared operating model that connects strategy, innovation, operations, quality, and execution across the business. As Global Vice President, Product & Business Operations, you will own the end-to-end idea-to-stock operating model, from product strategy and development through manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product availability. You will translate business priorities into executable plans, strengthen functional leadership, and create the systems and cadence that allow teams to operate as one organization. You will be a hands-on executive and player-coach who can move comfortably between enterprise strategy and operational detail. You will develop strong Directors, clarify ownership and decision rights, establish practical processes and measures, and ensure the organization is structured to scale.

Requirements

  • Significant progressive leadership experience across product development, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, with responsibility for multiple functions through Directors or other senior leaders.
  • Proven success in a decentralized start-up, scale-up, private-equity-backed, roll-up, multi-brand, or similarly entrepreneurial organization.
  • Experience building or transforming departments, organizational structures, SOPs, governance, KPIs, and operating cadences.
  • A track record of leading global, geographically dispersed, or multi-site teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives and cross-functional product launches from strategy through execution.
  • Strong financial and business acumen across budgets, resource allocation, working capital, inventory, capital investment, and business cases.
  • The executive presence and communication skills to build credibility with Boards, senior leaders, technical and manufacturing teams, clinicians, customers, suppliers, and external partners.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical devices, surgical products, orthopedics, implantable devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or another regulated product environment.
  • Product development, design controls, quality systems, clinical evaluation, risk management, and regulated product-launch requirements.
  • Integration of acquired companies, brands, portfolios, systems, or operational processes.
  • Private-equity-backed or publicly listed parent-company environments.
  • ERP transformation, supply-chain planning systems, business intelligence, or operational-data improvement.
  • Complex portfolio and SKU rationalization.
  • Partnership with clinicians, surgeons, key opinion leaders, or clinical advisory boards.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, life sciences, healthcare, technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop senior leaders across Product Management, R&D, Clinical Evaluation, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Quality.
  • Build a capable Director-level structure with clear ownership, reporting lines, accountability, and decision rights.
  • Establish succession plans and leadership development priorities for critical functions.
  • Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, transparency, and constructive accountability.
  • Stay close enough to the work to understand issues, remove barriers, and make informed decisions.
  • Build an integrated global operating model across all responsible functions.
  • Establish scalable SOPs, workflows, governance structures, and decision rights.
  • Create consistent leadership, portfolio, supply, capacity, and performance reviews.
  • Implement meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and accountability measures.
  • Improve prioritization, resource allocation, issue escalation, and decision-making.
  • Lead annual and long-range operational planning in partnership with the CEO, Finance, Commercial, and other leadership functions.
  • Identify and communicate risks, constraints, and trade-offs early.
  • Set direction for the leaders of each function and hold ultimate accountability for outcomes across Product Management, Research & Development, Clinical Evaluation, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Quality.
  • Maintain a prioritized, market-aligned portfolio and rationalize SKUs while preserving appropriate clinical coverage.
  • Drive disciplined, stage-gated development, on-time and on-specification launches, and a sustainable innovation pipeline.
  • Ensure robust clinical evidence, post-market follow-up, and meaningful input from surgeons, KOLs, and advisory boards.
  • Drive reliable performance, global production standards, and sound capacity, footprint, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver end-to-end supply performance across service, lead times, forecast accuracy, inventory health, and continuity.
